This is not a major issue. What happens is the vehicles 12 volt battery is run down and is not providing the proper voltage to start the vehicle. You need to have the battery tested or replaced or jumped by either AAA or sometimes your insurance company will come to you to do this. This should take care of your issue.

My first thing I would check is the battery connections, they inevitably have a bad connection, might have good enough voltage but after it starts it drops and shut off the engine due to not enough voltage for the electronics.
